About Dionne
Dionysia “Dionne” Holley has always been drawn to the fashion and beauty industry. Although becoming a professional makeup artist wasn’t always part of her original plan, discovering the beauty industry at the age of 24 would ultimately change the direction of her life. What began as a passion soon became a calling, giving her the courage to eventually leave behind a 10-year corporate career and pursue beauty full-time. Born and raised in sunny Panama City, Florida, Dionne set out with a vision: to travel the world and make it beautiful, one face at a time.
With more than 18 years of experience in the beauty industry, Dionne began her professional beauty career with the globally renowned MAC Cosmetics in San Antonio, Texas. Her artistry, dedication, and passion for her craft led to her becoming Head Makeup Artist for the San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancers in 2012, a defining moment that helped shape the next chapter of her career.
After seven years in Texas, Dionne set her sights on Atlanta, Georgia, where she expanded her career into television and film. Her work gave her the opportunity to collaborate with major networks including BET, Lifetime, and WE tv, fulfilling her dream of working in entertainment makeup artistry.
As her career evolved, so did her passion for beauty. Dionne expanded into the world of esthetics, completing extensive training to become a licensed esthetician and later a licensed esthetics instructor. Her love for education eventually led her into the classroom, where she taught at leading esthetics schools throughout the Southeast, educating and encouraging aspiring beauty professionals as they prepared to build careers of their own.
Dionne also developed a passion for laser hair removal, particularly helping women experiencing unwanted facial hair associated with PCOS. Her dedication to her clients and the industry earned her the title of 2021 Favorite Laser Technician by Dermascope Magazine. Her experience later expanded into corporate esthetics, where she excelled as a top sales manager for a medical spa in Atlanta. Her success led to an opportunity as a quality control coordinator and corporate trainer for a laser hair removal company in Miami, prompting her relocation to South Florida and adding yet another dimension to her career.
Today, Dionne is a professional makeup artist, licensed esthetician, and licensed esthetics instructor, with professional licenses spanning Florida, Georgia, and Texas. She is the founder of Dionne Holley Aesthetics Skin Studio, with locations in Atlanta’s Vinings area and her hometown of Panama City, Florida, where she continues to provide personalized esthetic care with a focus on skin health. Her work and impact in the Florida beauty community have also earned her recognition as a Best of Florida 2026 Regional Winner in the Estheticians category for the Panama City and Panama City Beach region.
Her vision for beauty has continued to grow beyond the treatment room. Dionne is the founder of Dionne Holley Skincare, a medical-grade skincare line developed from her years of hands-on experience working with skin and her commitment to helping clients maintain healthy, beautiful skin beyond their professional treatments.
She is also the author of her debut book, Finding Beauty in Each Day: Daily Devotions for Beauty Professionals, a 365-day devotional featuring morning reflections, daily affirmations, and evening reflections created with beauty professionals in mind. Through personal words of encouragement and inspiration, Dionne created the devotional to speak to the person behind the professional, encouraging readers as they navigate their careers, dreams, personal growth, and everyday lives.
What began at 24 as a newfound passion for beauty has grown into a career spanning makeup artistry, esthetics, education, entrepreneurship, skincare, and authorship. Dionne’s journey is a reflection of determination, evolution, and the courage to continue pursuing what has been placed on her heart. Through every chapter, her purpose remains rooted in helping others see beauty differently, believe in what is possible for their own lives, and, most importantly, find beauty in each day.
